Things to be aware of regarding motion registration… Only a limited number of motion registrations are available each year. As a means to ensure a rich and stimulating exchange of ideas among peers in the motion picture, broadcast and game industries, preference is given to working professionals who have been actively engaged in the production or creation of motion graphics, visual effects {VFX}, or animation for not less than two (2) years. The future of the industry is very important to motion – so we’ve set aside a block of 100 tickets for students and educators in the industry to purchase at a reduced rate. The cost of registration for motion is $199. For qualified full-time students and educators, the cost is $149. In order to maintain the intimacy of this unique event, registration to attend motion is limited to 400 professionals and 100 students/educators. Things to be aware of regarding motion{u} registration… motion{u} sessions vary in size from 15 to 30 attendees per session – depending on the specific session. Six full-day sessions will be offered on Saturday, October 16, 2010 in Santa Fe. Three additional motion{u} sessions will be offered on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Albuquerque.
