Travel plans: To help you make your travel plans, take a look at the motion overview. If you are planning to attend motion{u} :: Santa Fe on Saturday, October 16, 2010, you will need to arrive in Santa Fe no later than Friday evening.

ABQ to Santa Fe: For those joining us for motion{u}, it’s easy to get to Santa Fe!

option one: Catch the shuttle from the airport to the downtown ABQ (http://www NULL.nmrailrunner NULL.com/bus_connections NULL.asp) train station, and then hop aboard The New Mexico Rail Runner Express to Santa Fe. The cost is less than $10 each way. For more information, or to view the train schedule, visit their website (http://www NULL.nmrailrunner NULL.com/).

When you arrive in Santa Fe, you can either take the Pick-Up Shuttle (http://www NULL.santafenm NULL.gov/index NULL.aspx?NID=1781) to your hotel near the historic Santa Fe plaza – or walk. It’s about a 10 minute walk – not difficult if you’ve traveled light.

option two: Alternatively, consider the Sandia Shuttle Express (http://www NULL.sandiashuttle NULL.com/) offering convenient shuttle services between Santa Fe and Albuquerque International Airport with 30 trips daily to fit your travel schedule.

Hotels in Santa Fe: Since motion{u} :: sf takes place at the Santa Fe Convention Center, we recommend you stay at one of the many hotels near the historic Santa Fe plaza. We are negotiating special rates for motion attendees. Be sure to watch our website for details.

Hotels in ABQ: Hotel Andaluz is motion‘s hotel headquarters. It’s conveniently located in the heart of downtown, five minutes from the airport – and just a few short blocks from this year’s venue – the KiMo Theatre. We have negotiated special rates for motion attendees. Find out more…

Heading Home . . . motion ends at 10pm Monday evening, October 18, 2010. We recommend you plan to leave the next morning. If you are staying on for motion{u} :: abq on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, these full-day intensives will end at 4:30pm.

Make it a Vacation: If you have the time to vacation for a couple of days before or after motion, be sure and download our Make it a Vacation brochure. It provides the inside scoop on things to do while you’re in the southwest – and how to do them at little or no cost. Come early or stay on longer – and make your stay a vacation!
